EE’s 5G network reaches 80 UK cities

by

In May 2019, EE was first to launch 5G in the UK, with coverage in London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester, and has expanded its 5G service across 80 cites in the UK.

EE also boast covering nine new postcode regions that didn’t previously have 5G from any network.

The nine new locations are Borehamwood, Weybridge, Newton-le-Willows, Paisley, Chesterfield, Southend-on-Sea, Inchinnan, Stirling and Westhoughton.

Although it will take a long time to reach the same level of coverage in each areas as has already been achieved by existing 4G networks, EE are moving forward with 5G technology as fast as the service itself.
